The well has recently been restored as part of the renovation of the whole site, which is well worth a visit and very atmospheric. Not much was known about the well at the time of my visit, but the intention was to continue exploration if possible.

Log Text: The Well has long since been covered to provide more parking for the church, but the owner, Mr Doug Chapman is always happy to talk about it. The site is only open on Sundays and must be prearranged with the owner.
