Boskednan A submitted by AngieLake on 15th Oct 2004. This view of the 'destroyed barrow'/cairn near Carn Galva, shows its alignment with Ding Dong mine on the horizon. Boskednan circle is on slightly lower ground not far from here, and on an alignment between the 'barrow'/cairn and the
mine building. The flat sides of the pointed stones face north/south. (This pic was taken at 4pm in March 2004).
The stones sit on a higher ridge at 227m.

Country: England (Cornwall)
Visited: Yes on 27th Jan 2019. My rating: Condition 4 Ambience 4 Access 3

Four Parishes Rock submitted by Bladup on 4th Dec 2017. Four Parishes Rock, I believe the right hand side of this stone is a slightly different colour because it was once in the ground (for a long time), therefore making this a former Standing Stone. The weathering at the other end (left) is also going in the right direction if made when stood up. Ding Dong mine is visible on the right.

Shipman Head Down, Bryher
Date Added: 27th Dec 2018
Site Type: Hillfort
Country: England (Isles of Scilly)
Visited: Yes on 2nd Aug 2018. My rating: Condition 2 Ambience 5 Access 3
Shipman Head Down, Bryher submitted by Thorgrim on 27th Jul 2004. The extreme headland of Bryher is Shipman Head. It was fortified in the Iron Age and a tumbled rampart of stones remains - just by the small figure. The notorious Hell Bay is to the left where massive breakers crash in from the Atlantic. Many ships have been wrecked here.

---
Bosullow Trehyllys is a small village of Courtyard Houses, in terms of preservation it is considered to be second only to the nearby ancient village of Chysauster. The biggest difference is that Bosullow Trehyllys remains unexcavated. Today this site is grazed by horses (04/2010).
