The Roaches submitted by Draconis on 17th Feb 2016. Another view of the Roaches, this one from near Meerbrook. It shows the typical Dragon profile: the long body to the left, dipping down to the neck, then rising to form the head to the right. If you compare this with, for example, the outline of the West Kennet Longbarrow, you will find a remarkable similarity. Such barrows represented the Great Serpent-Dragon Goddess, the Earth Mother.
