Log Text: Nice stone standing at the junction just by the route. Probably milestone or propitiatory cross. The only confusing thing is engraving of perhaps maltese cross, what is truly unusual in this area.

Drombohilly Stone Circle
Date Added: 15th Aug 2015
Site Type: Stone Circle
Country: Ireland (Republic of) (Co. Kerry)
Visited: Yes on 10th Apr 2015. My rating: Condition 4 Ambience 5 Access 2

Drombohilly Stone Circle submitted by kenwilliams on 23rd Oct 2005. Drombohilly is a truly magnificent circle, though a visit is not for the faint hearted. After any spell of rain the terrain here is treacherous, barb-wire, slippery rock filled streams, shoe-sucking bog... Bring a trusted pair of wellingtons.

Dromroe submitted by frogcottage42 on 15th Mar 2010. This circle is in very good order and was next to the Beara Way path but as seems to be the case in many places locally the farmer has denied access and the path is now diverted 400m to the North.
