Log Text: Somewhat neglected site that was clearly once well-managed, judging by the orientation and information slabs that form part of the path, enclosed by fencing and currently closed to the public.
The main feature is the hilltop rock out of which several caves have been formed. Some other caves in the ricky hillside can also be found.

This is not my image but was posted by Ebora Megalithica on their Facebook page. It is only one of about 10 images of the process of moving and placing a menhir without modern machinery. It is a relatively small stone but I thought some people might like to see photos of how it was done.

Log Text: Entrance is free to the Interpretation centre. All the information boards are in Portuguese only, and take some effort to understand.
There is also a collection of letterpress printing machines and type in an adjoining room, as well as the church. Outside, the cemetery is full of magnificent headstones and tombs.

Log Text: Found on top of a rise through woodland alongside high tension "footpath" (approx 30m from it). Small site among several naturally occurring outcrops of large stones. Visited in Spring so quite overgrown, and unkempt, but through the trees there are good views North across the plains towards Llagostera and Cassà de la Selva.

Log Text: Situated in the middle of a neglected corner plot on a housing estate. Hard to tell what is what thanks to undergrowth and a profusion of other rocks nearby. Found the site covered in building debris (plaster and broken glass)

Log Text: If arriving by car, follow signs for Poblat de Montbarbat, park near the Municipal Water Deposit and follow the signed footpath towards same. At the entrance to the Poblat, follow the footpath to its left which brings you around the back of the urbanization, and meets with this hilltop dolmen. Retrace steps and visit the Poblat for even more stunning views across the countryside.
Like the Poblat, the Dolmen site stands on the border between Lloret de Mar and Maçanet de la Selva. The Dolmen falls slightly on the Maçanet side and is sadly uncared for, but not showing signs of recent vandalism.

Log Text: Site in Cataluña Spain, a half-kilometre walk uphill from the GR11 footpath (signposted from the asphalted road by Mas Girarols farm) north east of Espolla, a little further on from companion site I.
Pathway very overgrown with bushes, long trousers (or gaiters) recommended!
