Les Pierres Jumelles submitted by theCaptain on 24th Jan 2011. The Pierres Jumelles, or twin stones, are both about 4 metres high, but that is where the similarity between them ends.
One of the stones is a rounded block of lovely pink granite, while the other is a tall pointed grey stone.

Lespurit-Quélen menhir submitted by paulcall on 22nd May 2009. A general overview from ground level this time. This is a marvellously peaceful place to visit, and I met about 20 french walkers here, who were very obliging, and left me to my own devices to photograph the site. It was the only site I visited on my stone hunting trip in Finestere where I met anyone else, even though it was probably the furthest from any road! GPS 47.95365 N 4.32390

Ligné tumulus submitted by thecaptain on 5th Dec 2005. A great big round tumulus within a wooded area in the middle of a field, near the village of Ligné.
The mound is approximately round about 30 metres in diameter and 4 metres high.

This definitely helped to console myself from overclouded sky: Neither sunrise nor sunset were visible from this part of the world.
