No serious attempt has been to date this large pile of rocks, but it is largely in the state it was in 2050 years ago, when it was first mentioned. This settlement, NW from Moelfre and not far from the Lligwy burial chamber is huge! A short walk from parking space for maybe 3 cars, through woodland, this location can occupy a considerable amount of time exploring the nooks & crannies of this probable 4th century AD settlement.

Within easy access from the road this megalithic beetle has a huge capstone 5m x 6m balanced on top of a number of smaller stones covering the chamber hollowed out from the rock.
