Country: France (Bretagne:Côtes-D'Armor (22))
Visited: Yes on 12th Jul 2011
Menhir Incliné submitted by Jimwithnoname on 12th Jul 2011. A very difficult stone to find. Deep in the forest and invisible once only a few metres away. However, a very pleasing site to sit and look at the trees around you.

Menhir dit la Dent de Saint-Servais submitted by Jimwithnoname on 12th Jul 2011. The giant's tooth. Truly a magnificent menhir, set in slender deciduous forestry. It's worth just sitting here and watching the leaves in the trees.

Menhir de Coat Mocun nord
Date Added: 5th Oct 2011
Site Type: Standing Stone (Menhir)
Country: France (Bretagne:Finistère (29))
Visited: Yes on 13th Jul 2011
Menhir du Roz Perez submitted by Jimwithnoname on 13th Jul 2011. I've been on the bridge that spans two worlds. I came across this menhir whilst looking for another stone of 8mtrs, which I eventually discovered in a family front garden behind some trees.
This stone appeared to be original as the workmen had positioned huge 4' square boulders around it to protect it.
The road was blocked, I could go no further. The image was quite striking and one not be missed. A number plate type sign had been drilled to the menhir saying 'RESPECT' but was at the wron...

La Roche Longue (Quintin)
Date Added: 5th Oct 2011
Site Type: Standing Stone (Menhir)
Country: France (Bretagne:Côtes-D'Armor (22))
Visited: Yes on 14th Jul 2011
La Roche Longue (Quintin) submitted by Jimwithnoname on 14th Jul 2011. Now closely planted in a farmer's field, this tall menhir is much thinner at it's base. I couldn't quite get the best angle to show you because of the crops.
There is also a smaller menhir most likely connected, at the bottom of the field on the opposite side of the lane. It stands about 1.5 mtrs high at the edge of the field.

Coat Castel Menhir

Site Type: Standing Stone (Menhir)
Country: France (Bretagne:Côtes-D'Armor (22))
Visited: Yes on 14th Jul 2011
Coat Castel menhir submitted by Jimwithnoname on 14th Jul 2011. Taken around 8pm, this menhir stands at the edge of dense woodland. Large boulders are dotted around close by. As many forest menhirs probably are, this quartz granite menhir is covered in thick moss, but I'm sure it would have once shone brightly in the sunshine.

Menhir de Kergornec submitted by Jimwithnoname on 15th Jul 2011. A huge stone with an amazing view across rolling countryside. There is a horse riding farm/ stables next to it and the stone may be on their land. Some people came by on horses and all was well with a 'bonjour' and a wave.

Champ Dolent Menhir
Date Added: 5th Oct 2011
Site Type: Standing Stone (Menhir)
Country: France (Bretagne:Ille-et-Vilaine (35))
Visited: Yes on 19th Jul 2011
Champ Dolent menhir submitted by Jimwithnoname on 19th Jul 2011. A now much more open site. The surrounding bushes have been cut back. I guess farmers are having to utilise all their available crop space nowadays.
We sheltered perfectly out of the rain against this 'warm' stone in a downpour.
