Das Projekt steht im Zusammenhang mit dem Ausgrabungsprojekt Schnippenburg. Auf dem 3000 qm großen Areal wird das Leben der Menschen etwa 300 v. Chr. anschaulich vermittelt.
Das zweischiffige Haus ist mit Reetgras gedeckt und besteht aus Eichenpfosten mit lehmverputzten Flechtwerkwänden. Die Firsthöhe beträgt ca. 5,50 m. Bei einer Länge von 16 m und einer Breite von ...

Today, two of the 10 barrows are reported to still be visible as soil marks.
The picture was taken in December 2015. It depicts a position at the official coordinates that exhibits dry, yellow grass. This is the supposed position of at least one former round barrow.
