St Wendronas submitted by KiwiBetsy on 15th Oct 2006. St Wendronas' Well sits beside a small stream at the bottom of a field beside the A394. Leave Helston on the A394 heading towards Trewennack. Pass the Caravan Park on the left and pull into the gateway of Trelil Farm cottage and farm sheds on your right. With the farm buidings on your right, to your left is a field that slopes down to a steam. Head down to the stream and away from the road to the north eastern corner of the field. Log Text: Lovely cross situated on a granite plinth that isn't original to it. Church notice board has some information on it - originally called the Seaureaugh Cross, it was removed from the mill with the same name in 1910 with permission from Captain William Frances Tremayne.

St Piran's Well submitted by MawnanIan on 4th Nov 2004. This well is behind the Norway Inn on the main Truro to Falmouth road. The well and surrounding area are kept in good condition by the nearby church which uses water from the well for christenings.

Log Text: A lot of rocks in one cathedral! Many carved rocks propped against various walls - some near the crypt and some directly across in one of the small enclaves. Wonderful carvings, a personal favourite is one of a sword handle & cross guard. Cathedral itself is stunning with gorgeous stained glass pieces & friendly staff.

Log Text: Massive stone cross with very faint carvings across the front and back. The church guide pamphlet puts it's height at 17'6" with 7ft still underground, as well as calling it the tallest of it's kind in Cornwall. It has a very faint carving at the top of three concentric circles and on the other side in a similar spot is a spiral.

Log Text: Lovely well! Shame the door was locked, holding a phone camera up to the gaps in the door there's some view but I would've loved to see what it's like open. The door carving is delightful and in great condition, and a plaque on the wall states it's been there since the 6th Century.

Described as "(an) incised sandstone slab, set in the floor of Trinity Chapel, against the north wall. The simple cross has terminals with sharply angular ‘buds’ between short rounded ‘leaves’; semi-circular arch base. Mason’s (or carpenter’s?) square behind and to left of shaft. Thirteenth century?"
