Boskenna Crosses submitted by cazzyjane on 18th Jun 2012. Boskenna Cross 2. SW4195 2418. Found beside a footpath one field north west of Boskenna Gate Cross.
Only the cross head is ancient and has a broad- limbed cross on it which is very difficult to make out. It leans against the hedge and is often lost behind the brambles and foliage. Unfortunately there is also a lot of rubble around its base.

An enormous and magnificent menhir built into the wall of a tremendous pub on the main street in the village of South Zeal, Devon.
In fact, the pub is believed to have been built by monks in the twelfth century around the menhir. As the pub website says "A very interesting part of the house is the small lounge behind the bar.
