Prince Llywelyn (the great) memorial stone submitted by geoffstickland on 3rd May 2019. Ffynnon Llewellyn - Holy Well or Sacred Spring in Powys
The site of the death of Prince Llewellyn The Great, the last native-born Prince of Wales. The well is reputedly the place in which the severed head of the murdered prince was washed before being taken to King Edward the First in London.
