Sie ist von Thale, Treseburg oder Wienrode aus auf einer Fahrstraße, zu Fuß oder von Thale mit einem Sessellift zu erreichen. Auf dem Felsen befindet sich seit der Mitte des 19. Jahrhunderts das gleichnamige Berghotel mit Aussichtsterrasse. Nahe dem Hotel liegt die Bergstation des Sessellifts. Not registered by Sprockhoff although only a couple of meters from Preetz II and II (505, 506). At the time the tumulus was intact. Since then it was properly excavated and many artifacts were found.
