Werpeloh Steingrab 5

Werpeloh Steingrab 5 submitted by Martin_L on 10th May 2011. Werpeloh V viewed (pole aerial) from the North. Chamber measuring appr. 6m by 3,2m [1]. Laehden Steingrab 1

Laehden Steingrab 1 submitted by Martin_L on 17th Jul 2011. Pole aerial view from the NW. Skeleton of a neolithic passage grave of Drenthe/Emsland-type. Although many stones are robbed and several of the remaining are out of place this is a fantastic and important site: 23m x 3m chamber originally covered by at least 15 capstones and surrounded by an extremely rare double oval enclosure. The enclosure is partly well preserved on the North-eastern long side. Capstones C1 (counting from the NW), C7, C12, C14 and C15 are missing.
