Dolmen de Roche-Cubertelle submitted by gaellekonak on 24th Mar 2005. The Forez region around Montarcher used to be the realms of the Vellaves who gave their name to the Velay province.
Luriecq's Dolmen is located a few miles away from St-Bonnet-le-Chateau, in the village of Luriecq. It is supposed to be about 5,000 years old. It is located on the former territory of Paleolithic hunters. The presence of the stones proves the very ancient occupation of what was to become the Ségusiaves' territory with the arrival of the Celts.

Burgstall Oppidum submitted by AlexHunger on 18th Jun 2006. 1st and 2nd Century BCE Celtic Hillfort of about 1.2 Square Kilometer surface area.
This section of about 5 Meter thick wall has been restored together with the wooden pilars that help suport it.
The local community has set up a hiking circuit with information signs at regular distances.

Steinkiste Degernau submitted by AlexHunger on 4th Sep 2005. The cap stone is about 2 Meters by 1.2 Meters and the front upright is about 1 Meter wide with a 40 Cm diameter Soulhole. There is an about 6 meter diameter tumulus around the Dolmen. The dolmen was heavily restored in the 1970's, but still has a really nice atmostphere.
The "soul Hole" of the Toten Mann Dolmen looks straight at the Buehlhoetzle Menhir from 550 Meters away up a small hill.

Ebracher Bildstein submitted by Mura on 2nd Jun 2009. Probable Iron Age Statue Menhir found near the former Ebrach Monastery in 1938 and taken to the Bamberg Historical Museum together with 3 other statue menhirs found in 1857.
