Tanums Hällristningar submitted by DrewParsons on 5th Oct 2011. Six figures crouch on the deck of a ship, one of them blowing a lur. In front of him a man stands with an axe raised whilst others lift their paddles to the sky. Bronze Age burials involved the concept of a final voyage towards death and the after life in a ship and this may be what is reflected here. September 2011.
