The Cross of Moridic (Llanhamlach) submitted by Sunny100 on 26th Nov 2010. Illustration of 'The Cross of Moridic' [by W.G.S] in St Peter & St Illtyd's Church, Llanhamlach.
The cross-slab dates from between the 7th-9th century CE and has a cross and two curious figures carved onto it. And an inscription recalls the name Moridic.
The slab is also decorated with cord-plait interlacing and key patterning.

Temple Wood S submitted by funsize on 4th Jun 2007. This is a cracking site. Large cobble mound with slivers of upright slabs and a central cist. Very accessible and one of many impressive sites within a small area of the Kilmartin Valley. This shows the larger cairn, there is a smaller one ringed by trees a stones throw to the south west.
