Dupath Well

Dupath Well submitted by KiwiBetsy on 11th Dec 2004. As you enter the chapel through the heavy wooden door, there before you built into the floor below the windows is a pool of crystal clear water which flows out under the eastern wall into a granite trough. The chapel was built by the monks of St Germans in 1570 but the well was revered as a pre Christian shrine and has long held the reputation for curing whooping cough.

Temple Wood S

Temple Wood S submitted by funsize on 4th Jun 2007. This is a cracking site. Large cobble mound with slivers of upright slabs and a central cist. Very accessible and one of many impressive sites within a small area of the Kilmartin Valley. This shows the larger cairn, there is a smaller one ringed by trees a stones throw to the south west.

St Cattwg's Church (Llanspyddid)

St Cattwg's Church (Llanspyddid) submitted by PERKYPUFFIN on 20th Oct 2019. Pab is correct try and take your photo of this about 10 to 10.30 am. Look for this stone in the middle of the graves at the back of the church. Church all locked up. I have seen many circular designs on early stones at old churches but never seen before small circles surrounding the central circle.

Log Text: Church sadly closed. Stone behind church has been set in concrete and aligned with graves, so it blends in with them rather well.
