Mynydd Troed

Mynydd Troed submitted by cerrig on 23rd Jan 2010. Sunrise, Jan 2010. A very misty day. This monument has been given an Ambience of 3, and it is little more than a grassy mound now. But on a good day it's in a location that's hard to beat, the views are a bit special, especially in these conditions.

Harolds Stones

Harolds Stones submitted by cerrig on 22nd Feb 2010. The smallest of the 3 stones, and the odd one out, being a slab type rather than a pillar. From this angle it reminds me of the stories that are sometimes told of these stones, regarding someone being turned to stone for some crime or other. This one looks to me like a hooded figure, walking away to the right, carrying a bag slung over the left shoulder.
