Cosdon Hill Cairn Circle, Dartmoor, Devon SX643916 On a flatter shelf of land on the eastern side of Cosdon Hill are the splendid remains of a cairn and treble stone row. The remains of the cairn at the uphill end of the rows is approx 8 metres in diameter, and has been substantially messed about with. Despite this, there are the clear remains of a double cist in the centre of the cairn, the downhill one of which still has its capstone largely in place. Several stones also remain in place...

Only the top & bottom section of the row can be seen. From the longstone there are 8 small stones then a 120m gap with 14 stones at the lower end. Hart Tor North Stone Circle, Dartmoor, Devon SX577717 The cairn at the top of the northern rows is about 9m in diameter, and is surrounded by a lovely ring of 15 stone slabs. It is possible that there is another ring of stones still present within the cairn. This is the view to the west, looking down the double row.
