St Nonna's Well submitted by theendlessbreeze on 14th Jun 2004. Grid Ref: SX222814
Location: Altarnun, Cornwall
To locate this well go past the church carry on following the road up the hill until you see a big metal gate to you right. You can park here and walk through the gate into a field. Carry on down through the wooden gate and you are close to the well. Look out for a small metal gate in front of you which says 'holy well' on it it. Go through this, down the steps and the well is in the undergrowth to your left.

Egloskerry
Date Added: 20th Apr 2011
Site Type: Holy Well or Sacred Spring
Country: England (Cornwall)
Visited: Yes
Egloskerry submitted by KiwiBetsy on 7th Sep 2006. To find this holy well cross the road from the Egloskerry Church into a parking area. At the back of this parking area take the walking track a short way and climb the stile into a field, turn hard right and cross the field to the fence line, follow the fence line back up towards the church until you see the well on your left.
Unfortunately the well has been fitted with a very basic grill which doesn’t enhance it’s appearance.

Date Added: 30th Apr 2011
Site Type: Ancient Cross
Country: England (Cornwall)
Visited: Yes

Boskenna Cross submitted by enkidu41 on 15th Nov 2004. The shot shows the principal face of the cross with its depiction of Christ.
The three-part base is out of all proportion to the cross. The look of stability is deceptive given its three damaging brushed with modern traffic!

St Bryvyth's Well submitted by KiwiBetsy on 16th Oct 2006. This well appeared to be much visited with signs giving directions to it and clouties hung on the wellhouse and in nearby trees. Despite extensive searching, I have been unable to find any information about either the saint or the well except that St Bryvyth, also known as Brevita, is a lesser Celtic saint and the patron saint of Lanlivery. The well lies very close to the Saint’s Way which runs from Fowey to Padstow and follows the route taken by 6th century Celtic missionary monks from Brit...
