Our Lady's Well (Oakham) submitted by bscwilde on 7th Aug 2020. The structure off Kingfisher Close adjacent to the stream given as SK866,095 in evidently a storm drain outlet cast in reinforced concrete, discharging into the stream and some distance from its source. In 1900 there had been a water mill 420m west of this point, adjacent to the playing fields at the end of Barnstedt Drive. (View photo, vote or add a comment )

St Botolph (Helpston) submitted by bscwilde on 22nd Apr 2024. Smaller 'wheel', simpler and in a flat plane but also suggestive of five arms, almost petal-like, rather than in a cruciform alignment. (View photo, vote or add a comment )
