Experts thought that originally the stones were in well formed construction, perhaps a great quake ever ravaged the formation. The Stone of Goronwy submitted by baz on 12th Jun 2018. Llech Ronw. In the Mabinogion, this stone was held by Gronw Pebyr as a shield against the spear of Lleu Llaw Gyffes. The spear pierced the stone and killed Gronw.
