Similar to Cleopatra's needle in London, there are more captured obelisks of this kind in Central Park New York or Rome etc. It received a Gold cap on the Pyramidon tip for the year 2000.

Site Type: Chambered Tomb
Country: Germany (Baden-Wuerttemberg)
Visited: Yes on 25th May 2017. My rating: Condition 3 Ambience 3 Access 5
Steinkiste Degernau submitted by AlexHunger on 4th Sep 2005. The cap stone is about 2 Meters by 1.2 Meters and the front upright is about 1 Meter wide with a 40 Cm diameter Soulhole. There is an about 6 meter diameter tumulus around the Dolmen. The dolmen was heavily restored in the 1970's, but still has a really nice atmostphere.
The "soul Hole" of the Toten Mann Dolmen looks straight at the Buehlhoetzle Menhir from 550 Meters away up a small hill.
