Log Text: What an evocative, stunning setting for these standing stones, surrounded in the landscape by burial mounds and ancient paths. We returned the following day to build a campfire at the designated place just below the stones, during both visits we were totally alone.
As you walk from the museum along the path towards the stones you get a feeling that you're walking through Tolkien's Barrow Downs into Hobbiton!
