The hill fort occupies a position on the end of the Clent Hills. It is very much hidden by the trees but would have views to other forts on the Malverns, Clee Hill and Dudley.

Pen-y-Crug Hillfort submitted by Creative Commons on 27th Feb 2011. The impressive Iron Age hillfort at Pen-y-crug just west of Brecon provides commanding views over the surrounding countryside. It was defended by multiple banks and ditches as seen here.

If you are visiting Bryn Celli Ddu on Anglesey it is worth looking at this Burial Chamber site as it is nearby at SH 520 697. Coming from the bridge on the A4080 after about 2 miles take the left turn a few metres before the left turn to the National Trust car park for Plas Newydd. This lane has a blue private sign but this is for the centre down there. After a short distance you will see the tomb on the right in a field.
