Humbleton Hill in North-Northumberland. The stones here, are part of the ramparts of a massive ringed hill fort, from about 300BC

The hill was also the site of a bloody battle in 1402, where the invading Scots were annihilated by the English longbowmen, under Harry Hotspure.

Log Text: One of the most spectacular hillforts I have seen in Britain, fantastic location with extensive views and clearly distinguishable stone ramparts and hut circles.
