Log Text: A superb location with views of the Black Mountains, the Eastern end of the South Wales valleys across to Merthyr and the tops of the Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons). Best visited in a spell of dry weather as the terrain can be very boggy in places.

Log Text: I have cycled past a few times (challenging track across the moorland) but didn't realise what this is! Today was the day to find out. What a fabulous position, great sightlines to Skirrid Fawr, Blorenge summit, Severn Estuary and really panoramic views all round. Cairn is quite impressive (to me anyway).
