Built about 1490 BC during the new kingdom.
Khnum (aka: Chem, Kemu, Khem) was the Ram Headed god of Nile Flooding, and husband of Satet with the same functin who has a temple 100 meters to the north.

Neolithic cup and ring carvings were discovered this summer on the Binn, a hill just north of Burntisland. The hill is known simply as the Binn - a volcanic plug, the name is thought to be derived from the Brythonic Bryn - hill, degraded over the years simply to Binn. Gwastadgoed submitted by Tom_Bullock on 24th Oct 2006. According to the www.megalithic.co.uk site, there are two standing stones at this site, which is what I found there. The stone at the N is 3–feet tall, while that at the N, 30 feet away, is 5–feet tall.
