Grand Menhir de Counozouls submitted by thecaptain on 15th Nov 2005. Le Grand Menhir de Counozouls, at nearly 9 metres high, one of the tallest in France, stands on the side of a steep valley in the Pyrenees.

Log Text: Fabulous site in the forest of the Pyrenees.the menhir overlooks the valley and across to the perched village..very impressive by its height and its location..the drive there is magnificent and well worth the effort to visit.
