Log Text: Well worth a visit. We arrived 5 minutes before opening time for the basic walk in visit (€12.90) and along with 4 other people had the place to ourselves until the hoardes arrived 35 minutes or so later..........

Log Text: Not signposted.One walks up a track for less then two minutes from the road, and there is a 'gap' for pedestrians in the fence on the left. 1:25000 map shows the position more clearly on Geoportail.fr

Hypogee du Castelet submitted by Nick- on 27th Jun 2010. 27th June 2010, A snake guarding the Hypogee du Castelet inside the second entrance...... He may have fallen in from above, and seemed pretty dopey in the cool chamber (30° outside)...... We tried to rescue him with a stick (but being unsure whether he might be poisonous or not) didn't manage as he hid under the rock...........
