One of the Rollright Stones group, this extremely weathered 8' high stone is 300' away from the King's Men stone circle. It may have been connected with a destroyed Neolithic cairn.

Shot inside the Eastern edge of the Circle, looking due north.
We have the NorthEast Trilithon on the left with the morning-shadow of Stones 6/7/107 falling across it.
Bluestone 32-C is in the shadow of Stone 6.
It was a lovely morning!

Log Text: A fantastic site, 2 stone circles within a huge stone circle. I was there for the winter solstice/End of the World and there was great atmosphere.
I can feel energy coming from some of the stones

Took the photo with old medium format camera and expired film to hopefully add some atmosphere to this reconstructed site. The stones of the site have been rediscovered during deep ploughing and rearranged without any knowledge of the original state. Furthermore the site probably originates from medieval times. Nevertheless it is featured in a recently edited book about Menhirs in Deutschland. It is situated close to an agricultural road whic...
