Log Text: Noble and magic atmosphere although it is a tumulus. Easy to find on safe forest paths. A fault line runs through the middle of the tumulus, direction SE/NW. No wonder did they build the tumulus here: they had a wide view as far as into the bernese alps!

This hand is the oldest bronze replica of a human body part known in Europe. The almost life sized hand was cast around 1450 BC and decorated with a golden bracelet. Together with a cloak pin, a hair spiral and a dagger, it was part of the grave goods accompanying a man aged between twenty-five and forty-five. Log Text: Nearest Public Transport Stop is "Bedigliora Scuola Media". Parking space is available there. Walk 10 minutes along "Via Barèla" and turn right into the natural path, leading down to the Chapel. The rock is behind the Chapel.

Auvernier Schalenstein submitted by Megalithic89 on 10th Aug 2023. Most probably this is the stone meant by "Auvernier Schalenstein". This is the cup-marked stone found at Lignières, SSDI Object No. 2523.02. It does have more than 20 round cup-marks.
