This is the view looking west overlooking the Merrivale site. I have tried to mark out where the various features are.
The stones in the foreground are remains of bronze age reaves and ancient settlement huts and field walls.

West Kennet Barrow submitted by Horatio on 22nd Sep 2024. I was actually getting photos of Silbury Hill in the distance not of West Kennet Barrow to be honest that wasn't even on my radar! Any way, as there is no photograph of it on here I'd thought I'd upload this as it does show the 'just a crop mark' with tyre patterns over it. Be pretty dull from ground level methinks but at least we have a photo of it now :-)
