Achnabreck submitted by custer on 11th Jul 2012. Fantastic paterns over a wide area of exposed stone cap on the hill. Fascinating to think what may be hidden by moss. The wet weather added to this providing definition to the circles, glad I made the effort to get up the hill.

Der Hunt submitted by Martin_L on 14th May 2015. The stone setting in May 2015. Seen from a low angle. Took the photo with old medium format camera and expired film to hopefully add some atmosphere to this reconstructed site. The stones of the site have been rediscovered during deep ploughing and rearranged without any knowledge of the original state. Furthermore the site probably originates from medieval times. Nevertheless it is featured in a recently edited book about Menhirs in Deutschland. It is situated close to an agricultural road whic...
