Country: Germany (Baden-Wuerttemberg)

Steinkiste Degernau submitted by AlexHunger on 4th Sep 2005. The cap stone is about 2 Meters by 1.2 Meters and the front upright is about 1 Meter wide with a 40 Cm diameter Soulhole. There is an about 6 meter diameter tumulus around the Dolmen. The dolmen was heavily restored in the 1970's, but still has a really nice atmostphere.
The "soul Hole" of the Toten Mann Dolmen looks straight at the Buehlhoetzle Menhir from 550 Meters away up a small hill.

St. Brigid's Holy Well submitted by enkidu41 on 24th May 2004. St. Brigid's Holy Well, Liscannor. R 044900
The Burren in Co. Clare has scores of holy wells not all of which have stood the test of time. Some are cased in concrete with modern plastic pipes extruding from the casing whilst others have disappeared under the vegetation. This well is probably the most important exception and is stated as being "one of the three most strongly lasting survivals of Lughnasa". This is a shot down the curved passage to the well proper at the end.

While photographing this well we spent some time talking to a lady who visited often and even took water away with her .... she swore by it for her skin and joint ailments.

Son Serra de Marina submitted by TimPrevett on 23rd Apr 2011. This talaiotic habitation sits right next to the road, and is one we thought we would have had to miss. Spending a large time at Son Real in the morning and early afternoon, then rushing to Arta to get to Ses Paisses in good time, we failed to realise this sits next to the road. We noticed it heading back to base at Can Picafort, and made a split second decision to stop. Thankfully there is a wide area to park on the right a couple hundred metres north.
The remains consist of a square structur...
