Kensal Green

Kensal Green submitted by rbatham on 7th Aug 2008. Adam Guy writes: An unknown Standing Stone in Kensal Green Cemetery? Whilst searching for the probable source of the, now underground, Counter's Creek in Kensal Green Cemetery I came upon what looks like an unknown Standing Stone amongst the scattered Masonic obelisks! Log Text: I visited Kensal Green Cemetery and spotted Stone 1, with my girlfriend Alice. It has a triangular face, goes into the ground and is not marking a grave. The other two Stones are grave markers, but are interesting just the same, whether brought in or carved from stones in situ. There may be more, we spotted three other possible stones. At the centre of the Stones is an Anglican chapel with extensive catacombs beneath, sitting on an oval platform with ditch on three sides.
