Wallburg Bruchhauser Steine submitted by Harald_Platta on 4th Mar 2017. The Wallburg Bruchhauser Steine is a hillfort in Olsberg (North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany). The hillfort dates from the late Pre-Roman Iron Age and was used from ca. 600 to 300 BC.
The picture shows cut at the rampart where the palisate has been indicated by a timber post. The orginal rampart can be seen running uphill.

Sieben Gräben submitted by Harald_Platta on 10th Dec 2021. The hillfort Sieben Gräben ("Seven Ditches") is located on Schleipenberg hill in Hagen (North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany).
The fortification consists of a triple rampart-ditch system around an interior space of 21 m in diameter. In the north there is an additional protection by a neck ditch.
