Sieben Gräben submitted by Harald_Platta on 10th Dec 2021. The hillfort Sieben Gräben ("Seven Ditches") is located on Schleipenberg hill in Hagen (North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany).
The fortification consists of a triple rampart-ditch system around an interior space of 21 m in diameter. In the north there is an additional protection by a neck ditch.

One of the round barrows was reconstructed. The mound is connected to a 40 m long double row of timber posts that might have served as procession way (Dromos).

The largest preserved capstone measures appr. 4,1m x 2,7m. This capstone is supported by two orthostats of the southeastern longside. Sprockhoff assumed, that the entrance was located between these orthostats.
