Großsteingrab Gudendorf-Köstersweg submitted by Harald_Platta on 31st Jul 2016. The Großsteingrab Gudendorf-Köstersweg was a chambered tomb in Cuxhaven (Lower Saxony, Germany). Only imprints of the stones have been preserved. The megalithic grave was assigned to the younger Funnelbeaker culture.
The picture shows a detail of the information panel near the preserved Gudendorf Grab. It depicts a reconstruction drawing of the destroyed chambered tomb Großsteingrab Gudendorf-Köstersweg (side view).

Its recent diameter is about 16 metres, and the remaining height about 1,5 m.
Originally it most probably had been encircled by a wreath of stones.
