It is situated in the Küstenheiden heathen area. Semi-feral Konik horses can be seen in the background.

A memorial stone was placed on its top with information about the excavation of the barrow in 1935. The round barrow still measures 9-10m and is 1m high.

The trenches of the graves can be recognised by their darker colour.

Gräberfeld von Ense-Bremen submitted by Harald_Platta on 5th Jun 2015. The most striking discovery made at the cemetery Ense-Bremen was a grave from the Merovingian period (ca. 500 – 750 AC). It was 20m long and consisted of two round enclosures that were interconnected. Therefore, the complex had the shape of an „8“ or, alternatively, of the eternity symbol.
