The image depicts the site map of the Keyhole-Grave VII of the cemetery Natrop in Datteln (North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany). This Bronze Age grave measured 72 m in length and was 27 m broad. It was surrounded by three trenches. The central burial pit measured 2.80 x 1.10 m and contained traces of a wooden coffin an cremated human remains. It has been speculated that this grave is the archetype of the keyhole-shaped graves. Another, smaller keyhole grave is lying alligned to Keyhole-Grave V...
