Grotenberg submitted by Harald_Platta on 28th Mar 2021. The Grotenberg is rock face in Bochum (North Rhine-Westphalia/Germany). This kind of a high rock cliff is unusual for the surrounding area. It has been speculated whether it might have been a part of a pagan sanctuary. The name (Grote = the Great = Odin) could support this possible connection.
