The site dates from ca. 5300 – 5000 BC. Picture of the site map shown in the temporary exhibition "Revolution Jungsteinzeit" in the LVR Rheinisches Landesmuseum Bonn. The map is based on the publication by Buttler & Haberey from 1936. The houses are marked with red, while the ditches are black.

Siedlung an der Universitätsstrasse submitted by dodomad on 14th Nov 2016. The remains of an ancient settlement were discovered on a modern construction site in Bochum (North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany) in October 2016. Several outlines of houses, post holes and pits were found.It us currently assumed that the setlement is 4000 years old and could represent one of the few known Bronze Age settlements in this area. The visitor has to put the head into the hole of the stone and breath out with a humming tone.
