It was a predecessor building of today`s Bonner Münster. Excavations beneath the church lead to the discovery of several votive stones dedicated to the Gallo-Roman Matronae Aufaniae, which are Romanized versions of Gallo/Germanic mother deities.

Summstein im Mäckingerbachtal submitted by Harald_Platta on 7th Sep 2016. The Summstein (“Humming Stone“) is a modern stone sculpture in Hagen (North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany).
The visitor has to put the head into the hole of the stone and breath out with a humming tone. The sound is supposed to be echoed from the stone back towards the visitor, which is supposed to be felt within the body of the visitor.

Siedlung an der Universitätsstrasse submitted by dodomad on 14th Nov 2016. The remains of an ancient settlement were discovered on a modern construction site in Bochum (North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany) in October 2016.
Several outlines of houses, post holes and pits were found.It us currently assumed that the setlement is 4000 years old and could represent one of the few known Bronze Age settlements in this area.
The excavations are still ongoing.
