Summstein im Quellenbusch submitted by Harald_Platta on 28th Jan 2017. The Summstein ("Humming Stone") is a modern stone sculpture based on the concepts of the artist Hugo Kükelhaus. It is situated in Quellenbusch forest in Bottrop (North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany).

The visitor has to put the head into the hole of the stone and breath out in a humming tone. The echoed vibrations are felt within the body of the visitor.

Großer Summstein submitted by Harald_Platta on 30th Jan 2017. The Großer Summstein ("Big Humming Stone") is a modern stone sculpture by Hugo Kükelhaus in Herten (North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany). It measures 450 x 60 x 110 cm.
The visitor has to put the head into one of the two holes of the stone. The person has to breath out with a humming tone. The sound waves are reflected by the stone and are supposed to be felt as vibrations within the body of the visitor.

Holter Steertmoor Huegelgraeberfeld submitted by Andreas on 3rd Feb 2011. view to one of the better preserved specimen of this cemetery.
Its recent diameter is about 16 metres, and the remaining height about 1,5 m.
Originally it most probably had been encircled by a wreath of stones.
