Macbeth's Stone
Date Added: 12th Jan 2011
Site Type: Standing Stone (Menhir)
Country: Scotland (Perth and Kinross)
Visited: Yes on 8th Jun 2005

Macbeth's Stone submitted by hamish on 8th Jun 2005. This is a truly magnificent stone. Although nothing to do with Macbeth it is a worthy tribute to one of Scotlands greatest Kings. Macbeth law underpins much of Scots Law and he did reign unopposed - except by the Norse - for seventeen years.

Sancreed Well submitted by hamish on 31st May 2005. This place is known locally as the Crone Well, I like to think the oracle or Guardian of the well lived here when they weren't burned for their knowledge. It is glorious at this time of the year, nature going riot.
