Trefin Modern Stone Circle submitted by h_fenton on 5th Feb 2008. Trefin Modern Stone Circle, I suspect that this prominent nearby standing stone, 330m west at roughly SM828324 is modern too. I have been unable to find any records of it.
To get to it just walk a bit futher west along the coastpath.

Poseidonia Temple of Athena submitted by h_fenton on 6th Feb 2008. Temple of Athena, built around 500BCE and dedicated the Athena. This temple was commonly attributed to Ceres for many years until votive offerings to Athena were found nearby.
The temple has six front columns and Thirteen side columns, these outside column capitals are of the doric type whilst those on the inside were of the ionic type, none of the interior columns are still standing but many fragments of these colums and their capitals were found.

Poseidonia Temple of Hera submitted by h_fenton on 6th Feb 2008. Temple of Hera, this is the oldest temple at Poseidonia / Paestum built from around 550BCE in the doric style.
The interior is split into two naves and with the absence of any religious features this led early historians and archaeologists to suggest that this may be a civil building possibly Roman in date, this led to the temple becoming known as the Basilica. The Mold Gold Cape found by workmen quarrying for stone in a burial mound in Mold, Flintshire, North Wales in 1833. In the centre of the mound there was a stone lined cist containing an inhumation burial and the cape was found on the shoulders of the skeleton, pieces of sheet bronze were also recovered which may have formed a backing to the gold cape.
