St Canna's Stone (Llangan)

St Canna's Stone (Llangan) submitted by geoffstickland on 20th May 2019. This is the scene at the map reference given and it does look like a kind of chair. The site is very overgrown with vegetation so it was not possible to find any stone with an inscription.

Ffynnon Geler (Llangeler)

Ffynnon Geler (Llangeler) submitted by geoffstickland on 1st Jun 2019. Because of the situation of the well it is hard to get a complete picture of it and its setting. The well, which is a definite structure with a good supply of water, is situated about 15 feet up a near vertical cliff. It is found about 30 feet in front of Plasgeler house.

St Ann's Well (Great Malvern)

St Ann's Well (Great Malvern) submitted by AJK on 3rd Sep 2006. St. Anne was well known in the Middle Ages as a patroness of wells & springs. Cottagers probably lived here as early as the 13th century, near the site of an even older monk's hermitage. The purity of the water attracted 18th century visitors and the pump room and baths were built between 1815-1819. By the 1850's, the heyday of Malvern's spa, this became the most popular of the hill-springs for the spa's visitors. During the summer months, a German band regularly played here.
