Maes Mynach Cairn Cemetery - Cwm Lwnor
Date Added: 10th Feb 2022
Site Type: Cairn
Country: Wales (Carmarthenshire)
Visited: Yes on 15th Aug 2021

Maes Mynach Cairn Cemetery - Cwm Lwnor submitted by geoffstickland on 15th Aug 2021. The OS map shows the area as fenced pasture land, but recent forestry planting has transformed it into a verdant jungle, making movement and exploration difficult. This rather unhelpful picture is of the site of the cairn but communicates little detail.

Llwydnant Cairn II
Date Added: 3rd Jul 2021
Site Type: Cairn
Country: Wales (Powys)
Visited: Yes on 3rd May 2021

Llwydnant Cairn II submitted by geoffstickland on 3rd May 2021. Interestingly, there is another pile of stones shown in this picture just beyond our cairn which has all the signs of being a cairn - a more or less circular pile of collapsed stones with a hollow in the middle. However, I am not qualified to declare it "Llwydnant Cairn III"!
